Moving on, we headed to Camden on the coast of Maine. On our way we stopped at Cape Elizabeth to visit the Portland Head Lighthouse. A very picturesque setting.
In Camden, we walked the seaport city waterfront and enjoyed a visit to Mount Battie — the view was awesome offering a full panoramic view of beautiful Camden Harbor and Penobscot Bay.
Fall colors are started to pop out here in and around the coast giving us a little preview of what is sure to come once we head inland to the White Mountains in a few days.
Onward to Bar Harbor!!
